CAT grammar

To improve my handicapped english and to gear up my CAT preparations ive decided to help myself by blogging the most commonest mistakes we come across in the english language. As non-natives of English its infact more common to commit mistakes and we don’t realize if there is a mistake at all.  One word or two?  Some words are made by combining two short words which each have only one sound(monosyllables). It is a common mistake to write these as two instead of as one.  wrong: bed room, bath room,on line, good night  right:bedroom, bathroom, online, goodnight  VERY  you cannot use ‘very’ together with an adjective which already has the meaning of very.eg)  delicious–very tasty, enormous–very big, lovely–very nice.  wrong: Indian food is very delicious  right: Indian food is delicious  for more examples refer
